Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By placing a rental order, paying a deposit, accepting delivery, picking up rental items, or otherwise using rental items supplied by EVERYOURS Events, the Client agrees to be bound by these Rental Terms & Conditions.

2. Ownership of Rental Items

All rental items remain the sole property of EVERYOURS Events at all times.

The Client acquires no ownership rights in any rented item.

3. Reservation Payment and Final Payment

A non-refundable reservation payment equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total rental amount is required to secure rental inventory and reserve the requested event date.

No rental items shall be considered reserved until the reservation payment has been received and confirmed by EVERYOURS Events.

The remaining rental balance, together with all required security deposits, delivery fees, setup fees, teardown fees, travel charges, taxes, and any other applicable charges, must be paid in full prior to the release, pickup, or delivery of rental items.

EVERYOURS Events reserves the right to cancel any reservation and release inventory for non-payment.

4. Security Deposit

EVERYOURS Events may require a refundable security deposit.

The deposit amount shall be determined at our sole discretion based on the rental items and order value.

The security deposit may be applied toward:

  • Lost items
  • Missing items
  • Stolen items
  • Damaged items
  • Excessive cleaning
  • Repair costs
  • Replacement costs
  • Late return fees
  • Collection expenses

EVERYOURS Events reserves the right to deduct applicable charges from the deposit without prior notice.

If damages exceed the deposit amount, the Client remains responsible for the remaining balance.

5. Client Responsibility

The Client assumes full responsibility for rental items from the moment possession is transferred until items are returned and inspected.

The Client is responsible for protecting rental items from:

  • Theft
  • Loss
  • Vandalism
  • Fire
  • Water damage
  • Weather damage
  • Improper handling
  • Improper transportation
  • Improper storage
  • Misuse

6. Damage Charges

Rental items must be returned in substantially the same condition in which they were received, excluding ordinary wear and tear.

The Client shall be responsible for repair or replacement costs arising from:

  • Breakage
  • Cracking
  • Chipping
  • Staining
  • Burning
  • Scratching
  • Tearing
  • Missing components
  • Unauthorized modifications

EVERYOURS Events shall determine, acting reasonably and in good faith, whether an item is repairable or requires replacement.

7. Lost, Missing, or Unreturned Items

Lost, stolen, missing, or unreturned items shall be charged at the full replacement value determined by EVERYOURS Events.

Replacement value may exceed the original rental fee.

Replacement value may include:

  • Purchase cost
  • Shipping costs
  • Administrative costs
  • Labour costs
  • Sourcing costs

8. Floral and Decorative Installations

Artificial floral arrangements, floral installations, arches, backdrop pieces, draping, signage, candles, and decorative items are delicate rental products.

Broken flowers, detached stems, crushed arrangements, torn fabrics, damaged signage, bent frames, or other damage beyond ordinary wear may result in repair or replacement charges.

9. Outdoor Use

Clients assume all risks associated with outdoor use.

Rental items must be protected from:

  • Rain
  • Snow
  • Wind
  • Mud
  • Extreme temperatures
  • Water exposure

Damage caused by weather remains the Client’s responsibility.

10. Late Returns

Rental items must be returned at the agreed date and time.

Late returns may result in:

  • Additional rental fees
  • Administrative charges
  • Replacement charges
  • Loss-of-rental charges

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EVERYOURS Events shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury
  • Property damage
  • Event disruption
  • Delays
  • Indirect losses
  • Consequential damages
  • Loss of profits
  • Emotional distress

arising from the use, transportation, installation, handling, or possession of rental items.

12. Final Determination

EVERYOURS Events reserves the right to make the final determination regarding:

  • Item condition
  • Repairability
  • Replacement value
  • Deposit deductions
  • Applicable fees

Such determinations shall be made reasonably and in good faith.
